Death Nesting

Preparing for your next journey.

EMBRACING THE PLANNING PROCESS OF TRANSITION

This is the chapter you get to choose. Nest now, so nothing holds you back from living it fully.

Why "Death Nesting"

Death Nesting was built from a simple observation: too many people wait. They wait to have the hard conversations, wait to get their affairs in order, wait for "someday" to become the right time. And too often, someday arrives as a crisis instead of a choice.

Birds nest before their young arrive. New parents nest before a baby comes home. That instinct, preparing a space for what matters most, applies here too. Death Nesting takes that same idea and brings it into this chapter: the one you get to choose.

This isn't about dwelling on an ending. It's about clearing the paperwork, the unspoken wishes, the loose ends, so nothing holds you back from actually living what's ahead. Retirement. New adventures. A slower life, or a bigger one. Nesting isn't the finish line. It's what frees you to enjoy the time you have, fully and on your own terms.

Getting your affairs in order isn't just paperwork. It changes how freely you move toward the life you want.
