Death Nesting was built from a simple observation: too many people wait. They wait to have the hard conversations, wait to get their affairs in order, wait for "someday" to become the right time. And too often, someday arrives as a crisis instead of a choice.

Birds nest before their young arrive. New parents nest before a baby comes home. That instinct, preparing a space for what matters most, applies here too. Death Nesting takes that same idea and brings it into this chapter: the one you get to choose.
